Do you know the principle upon which the HealOzone works?

Therapy by means of the HealOzone is based on remineralisation of demineralised dental tissue with ozone. The device works on ozone basis, produced by the apparatus from oxygen around us. Ozone is a strong oxidant. So, a prepared and cleansed tooth after diagnosing of caries is treated with ozone which destroys all bacteria in the tooth. Afterwards, the tooth is coated with a special reducing solution which stimulates enamel, that is dentine to remineralise. Thus, we've managed to cure the carious tooth pain-free and without drilling. But that's not all since you act as a therapist at home. You thoroughly brush your teeth with a special toothpaste and rinse your mouth so as to improve remineralisation. After the arranged time we meet again in the practice and again check the depth and width of caries. You and me will be pleased with the results. TREATMENT WITH THE HEALOZONE

BASIC PROCEDURE OF COMPLETELY PAIN-FREE CARIES TREATMENT

1. CLEANSING

Before the therapy dental surface is prepared and cleansed of all soft layers with a spray by means of PROPHYflex device.

2. DIAGNOSING

Control of the dental surface and search for carious damages by means of a laser apparatus DIAGNOdent. The device remembers the greatest damage which is stored in the patient's file for subsequent analysis.

3. TREATMENT WITH OZONE

Depending on the located damage (caries), time for ozone treatment is set. A silicone cap is placed onto the tooth and the tooth is treated with the ozone gas by means of the HealOzone lasting 10-60 seconds.

4. REDUCING SOLUTION

The treated tooth is rinsed with a reducing solution which releases minerals and fluorid and stimulates enamel and dentine to self-recovery (remineralisation).

5. PATIENT KIT

The patient obtains a paste, spray and liquid for rinsing which he/she uses at home in a period of 4-8 weeks. Within this period, by means of proper apllication, the tooth is in 99% of cases entirely restored. After the arranged time we meet again in the practice and again check the depth and width of caries.
